“Committed to doing everything right, each step of the way,” is a modo that the Biltmore Homes builders live by.   Normally, I wouldn’t sit down and write a blog about an individual builder, but when a builder team has the compassion and understanding for an individual (buyer) who is heavily impacted by the economic roller coaster, I want to stand up and shout Biltmore Homes praises.

 

Let me elaborate.    We have a client that bought a home in the Heritage Knoll section of Wake Forest late fall.   The home was to be built and required a non-refundable $8,000 deposit.   We moved forward never dreaming that our client would be one of many to be laid off. Our client felt he could get another job quickly, so we informed the builder team at Biltmore Homes of the situation and all agreed to move forward. Permits and drawings were ordered.   After 8 weeks of trying to land a job, our client faced the inevitable – he couldn't buy that house without a job. We met with the clients and Tony Morin, one of Biltmore Homes' builders. These builders are solid, honest builders.  Even knowing that they, too, would suffer a financial hit on a broken contract, they totally understood that our client had worked in good faith to try to move forward.    With tears all around the table, a lot of understanding and compassion, Tony Morin, agreed to give our client his deposit back.

 

Do you hear what I am saying?  This builder understood and CARED, really CARED and you know as soon as things are better for my client, he will be back buying a house from Biltmore Homes.
